Do you always seem to have something else on your mind? Maybe a little voice in your head is telling you your life is not quite right. Do you feel like the days are passing too quickly and your dreams will never come true?

You really can achieve your goal of living on a boat.

I was living a life most dirt dwellers would be jealous of. I had a high paying career and a big house. I had lots of expensive big boy toys. Supposedly, I had it all. Why then wasn’t I happy? I felt my enthusiasm and life’s energy being sucked right out of me. I wasn’t sure what I wanted, but I knew I wanted to do something amazing with my life, today. Why shouldn’t we be able to live life in the present and stop deferring living life until we retire?

I made the decision to change my life and move aboard a boat. I was very excited. But I had no idea how to do it. I read hundreds of books, spent thousands of dollars, made many costly mistakes, and wasted so much time. Can you say, “This is so frustrating?” I know I sure did.

Fast forward to the present. We are successfully living aboard our boat. The most valuable lesson I learned is you don’t have to do everything the hard way if you have a mentor to show you the right way.
