Some of my thoughts,,,
Life is like a “chapter book.” It is time to finish this chapter of my life and move into the next chapter.
May be an appropriate time to re-examine and re-evaluate my life. How we spend our days, is how we spend our lives.
So difficult for others to understand our choices. We must look beyond what others expect; our families, our friends, our society, our government.
Life moves in one direction, forward. There is no reverse. There is little neutral, many people try to live in neutral.
I see people, people that hate their lives from Monday to Friday, waiting for the weekend. What a sad life.
Everyone needs to walk their own path.
When a person travels their true path, things always seem to work out.
It is about freedom, or more importantly the lack of it. I like what I do, but I am tired. So tired of complying with rules. I am treading water, getting nowhere. I see no change in the future.
We live in a restrictive world today. Who is in control? We live to work rather than work to live. By the time most of us slow down, our children are gone and our lives have passed by.
Getting away from a world where the most important thing is money and desires are fueled by greed.
I have never met a cruiser that says, “I wish I had worked for 4 more years before going cruising.”
All it takes is you wanting to do it bad enough.
Words of wisdom from others,,
“Letting go is really hard, but not as hard as holding on. You let go once. You have to hold on all day every day.”
"You can always make more money but you can't make more time."
“I can always get where I want to go providing I’m willing to start from where I am.”
“Always choose time over money.”
“Real love is more than a relationship, it is an understanding.”
On A Bumper Sticker - Dear God, why do you allow so much violence in schools?
Dear child, because I am not allowed in schools, God.

“Security is mostly a superstition. It does not exist in nature, nor do the children of men as a whole experience it. Avoiding danger is no safer in the long run than outright exposure. Life is either a daring adventure, or nothing.” Helen Keller
“When one door of happiness closes, another opens; but often we look so long at the closed door that we do not see the one which has been opened for us.” Helen Keller
“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.” Mark Twain
"Do not wait; the time will never be 'just right.' Start where you stand, and work with whatever tools you may have at your command, and better tools will be found as you go along." Napoleon Hill
“In a state-run society the government promises you security. But it's a false promise predicated on the idea that the opposite of security is risk. Nothing could be further from the truth. The opposite of security is insecurity, and the only way to overcome insecurity is to take risks. The gentle government that promises to hold your hand as you cross the street refuses to let go on the other side.” Theodore Forstmann
“Perfect freedom is reserved for the man who lives by his own work and in that work does what he wants to do.” Samuel Taylor Coleridge
“I do not know what I seem to the world, but to myself I appear to have been like a boy playing upon the seashore and diverting myself and then finding a smoother pebble or prettier shell than ordinary, while the great ocean of truth lay before me all undiscovered.” Sir Issac Newton
“Life’s a journey not a destination.” Areosmith
