This page will be about talking to your family and friends about your decision to live aboard a boat. Here is a start, we wanted to get something going on this important page.

Talking to family and friends.

 The main method we used to help us explain our choice to move aboard a boat was creating a “book.” We gave copies of our book to family members. They could look at and read the book by themselves and let it soak in.

How we did it. We purchased 3 ring binders and sheet protectors at an office supply store. We printed a photo of our new home “boat” and inserted it on the cover of the binder. We labeled the spine of the binder with a title. We created pages for our book. Many of the pages we composed ourselves. Many pages we copies of other families’ adventures and stories. We had 14 protectors for a total of 28 pages.
